Macho Macho Man

There are two things one usually hears before someone does something really stupid. The first is, “Here, hold my beer.” The second is, “Come on. Do it, be a man.” Macho is always stupid. Back in 2003, the macho men accused anyone who possible thought there would be a problem with the war as a chicken or traitor or coward. Now that the macho men have been proven wrong on everything, what has happened? These manly men are now blaming the rest of America as being too soft or too weak to see the job through. Kind of odd how most of the macho men are safely secure in DC and not actually, you know, in Iraq.

Our leaders and our pundits are 16 year old boys. This would be funny if it wasn’t so sad.

A question for the NY Times and the others who employ the machoest of men. You have two classes of people. One has been consistently wrong on everything and one has been consistently right. Why do you employ the former? Is it one of those do the opposite things?
